May 21st....the rapture...
So there i was sitting at my computer last night with a Bacardi cooler counting down.... 11:15 pm May 20th the clock struck 6 pm May 21st in new Zealand ( what can i say I got to amuse my self some how after the baby and husband goes to sleep) it came and went... so did the rapture lol! The end of time has been predicted since the beginning of time but its all the same it comes and goes. I still remember when Y2k came ... Everyone was panicked the computers were just going to shut down disaster, everywhere !!!! People were buying propane tanks and other emergency supplies. Even my own parents were in a dither!! But as I stood there watching the hands on the clock point to 12:00 am silence... No planes crashing, no nuclear missiles, no events like the movie maximum overdrive everything was the same.the world kept going.
I am not saying we are out of the woodwork i don't believe we are. our biggest threat is ourselves, man kind not caring about our mother earth cooperations don't because of money.. how much it costs, how much they make the rich has got to get richer you know!
they never stop and realize how fragile this planet is and all the money in the wold wont save them when it is no longer here....all i can say is BP oil spill is a perfect example..
and war. power, hate, and greed...... all we need in our home is a bunch of nuclear missiles going off for what... cause one country hates the way the other lives ??? yes man kind in my eyes is will be their own worst enemy ...... they seal their own fate, made their choice.... unless mankind can make some serious changes yes in fact we are DOOMED!!!!!

So here i am starting a blog... Well I figure I should start writing on here cause it is a outlet for me to write. I always enjoyed writing ever since I was little
So let me indrouce my self to my fellow bloggers...My name is Jamie lyn I recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl... She is six months old..... I must say being a stay at home mom is exusting, I never relized how hard it was for women to do this until my little one came into my life! I can definaitly say being a new mom is overwhelming, I know women have been doing this for centeries and its a fact of life but yet it seems as if ajusting can be tough, I was so used to being one entity if I wanted to go out I just did, I was a marijauna smoker pre pregnancy life yup one of those" chill out... sweet ...and duuudeeee " types my friends used to call me a modren hippie...... But sad to say since my little girl and I crossed paths its just another thing to tac to the way of life I miss. I can say though being a mom is worth it.. She is awsome, watching her grow everyday and learning new things... her laugh is absoultly infectious. Every day I spend with her is a gift, but I have to also grieve the old me. Its the natrual process of change, and that too shall pass.
Another change I am dealing with , is in july i am going to be a wife.... I am marrying a wonderful man yup on July 2nd at 5 pm on a river boat I will make that promise!
Things definatly happen fast in life seems like yesterday I was a lonley single 30 year old ( i am 32 now btw)sitting in my room wondering when my " prince charming " will come and take me away or will I have to get a dozen kitties and a shack in the woods somewhere and proclaim my self as another crazy cat lady? Yes those were confusing days! I knew I was not getting any younger but then like a theif in the night when I was least expecting he came... my prince charming, someone i could without a dout be with for the rest of my life! he definatly was amazing , I always knew he would be.
The new chapter in my life has begun! The old one i finished reading. The old chapter was a good read but i hope this next one is even better i am definatly exited to turn the page :)
